CMS Issues Medicare Claims Payment Guidance
The Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act of 2008, enacted on July 15, 2008, replaces the scheduled rate reduction with a 0.5 percent update, retroactive to July 1, 2008. Read the CMS communication here.
Purpose
The purposes and objectives of the Society shall include, but not be limited to:
The promotion of knowledge in all that pertains to Gastroenterology and gastrointestinal endoscopy
The continuing education of the Society members
The sharing of common problems of those interested in Gastroenterology and gastrointestinal endoscopy
The providing of a forum for presentation of scientific knowledge and research related to Gastroenterology and gastrointestinal endoscopy
